Introducing the e|1vet Electrolyte Analyzer

When EXIAS Medical set out to build the e|1 – a maintenance-free electrolyte analyzer for human diagnostics – the goal was straightforward: deliver gold-standard accuracy without the operational burden that typically comes with ISE technology. No daily cleaning. No weekly flushing. Just reliable results, every time.
That same standard is now available for veterinary medicine.

RELY ON THE GOLD STANDARD FROM HUMAN MEDICINE

The e|1vet didn't start from scratch. We developed it on the same technological foundation as the e|1, applying everything we learned from human diagnostics to meet the specific demands of veterinary practice and research. The result is an analyzer that brings laboratory-grade electrolyte testing to any veterinary setting — from small animal clinics to large-scale aquaculture operations.

FULL ELECTROLYTE PANEL IN 25 SECONDS

The e|1vet measures six parameters directly from whole blood, serum, plasma, urine, and other fluids:

Na⁺ · K⁺ · Cl⁻ · Ca²⁺ · pH · Hct

In addition the analyzer derives six calculated parameters: nCa²⁺, nCa²⁺lin, HCO₃⁻(c), Na/K ratio, tHb(c), and 24 h urine values.

With a sample volume of just 20 µL and results in 25 seconds, the e|1vet is designed for the pace of veterinary workflows.

TRULY MAINTENANCE-FREE

At the heart of the e|1vet is the all-in-one cartridge – the same concept that defines the e|1. Every component is integrated: sensors, calibration solutions, tubing, waste pouches, and wear-and-tear parts. When it's time for a replacement, a single cartridge swap is all it takes.

The cartridge is available in five sizes – 50, 100, 150, 300, 600 samples – all with 42-day on-board stability, so the e|1vet scales with any workload.

BUILT FOR OVER 50 SPECIES

Veterinary diagnostics covers a remarkably wide range of patients. We develped the e|1vet to handle this diversity, with validated species profiles for dogs, cats, horses, camels, reptiles, fish, avians, and over 50 species in total. The e|1vet supports flexible sample input: syringes, sample tubes, and capillaries are all supported without an adapter.
