What many may not know is that EXIAS Medical builds on the strong legacy of AVL Medical, the former MedTech division of AVL. Based in Graz, Austria, AVL Medical pioneered in vitro diagnostics from the late 1970s through the end of the 20th century, laying the groundwork for cutting-edge advancements in the field. Leveraging their experience at AVL Medical, our founding team brought decades of expertise to EXIAS, a name that literally means Excellence In Analytical Systems.

In 2024, we proudly celebrated 10 years of EXIAS Medical –
