Technical Customer Service Manager
Full Time (38,5h)
Your responsibilites
- Technical support and training for distributors (virtual support for small and mid-sized accounts and in-person support for key and large accounts)
- Delivering the voice of customer/s to Marketing organization and R&D to drive product innovation as well as identifying areas for innovation and product development
- Maintaining and enhancing technical knowledge and competitive product knowledge
- Cooperating directly with customers (distributors) and R&D employees
- Providing onboarding trainings for new employees and new product/refresher trainings to internal stakeholders
- Complaint handling process (product related and not directly product related):
- Managing and executing the process
- Technical analysis, solving problems, providing workarounds
(together with R&D and operations) - Building up FAQ and updating service manual and processes
- Internal and external communication
- Supporting the decision on warranty cases
Your qualification & experience
Education & experience
- Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university
- Technical knowledge of POCT in-vitro diagnostics
- Minimum 3+ years of successful international technical support or technical sales experience
Technical skills
- Ability to understand complex technical topics
- Excellent understanding of in-vitro diagnostics and POCT systems for lab and critical care parameters
- Proficient with Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience in data-based analysis (e.g. Matlab) is a plus
Additional requirements
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Perseverance, influence and assertiveness skills as well as being exceptionally interpersonal
- Ability to present technical contents to small groups and large formal gatherings
- Fluent in English, German and French or Spanish as a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% - worldwide
Organizational integration of this role
- Reporting to GM (esp. regarding complaint handling and warranty)
- Side report to VP Marketing & Sales (trainings, service concepts)
- Working with R&D, Logistics / Production

For this position, we offer a salary of at least EUR 3.157,75 (full time). Depending on your qualification, overpayment is possible.
